Elissa Erman RN, CDCES®, CWC, CHC is a top Wellness Expert in South Florida and the owner of Universal Coaching Services, a leading Wellness Company specializing in Health Education Programs and Wellness Coaching for the 55+ population. Elissa graduated from the University of Michigan School of Nursing in Ann Arbor, MI. She is also a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and holds a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Foundation and eCornell.  During her professional journey, she played a pivotal role in establishing and working in the Wellness Department at Walt Disney World’s on-site Wellness Center, earning her the esteemed nickname 'Disney’s Dr. Oz' among many Cast Members (employees).  Elissa has also showcased her expertise as the host of her own segment, “Let’s Talk Wellness with Elissa,” on 810AM CBS Sports Radio Orlando, with guest appearances on various other radio shows. Currently residing in South Florida, she has been featured on ABC Channel 25 WPBF for her unique services.

Known for her for engaging and educational Health Talks and her fun and lively Brain Game Activities, Elissa considers herself “The Nurse Who Has the MOST FUN!”  She finds joy in both her on-stage engagements and her individual and group coaching sessions. Her commitment to helping others lead healthier and happier lives began in her first official job as a Registered Nurse, particularly when caring for patients facing complications from cardiovascular disease—issues that might have been mitigated with lifestyle changes if addressed earlier. This experience triggered a paradigm shift towards prevention and wellness, paving the way for the creation of Universal Coaching Services. Elissa firmly believes that education, motivation, and fun are essential to decrease hospital admissions and create a healthier and happier society. She established Universal Coaching Services to serve as the vessel to achieve this transformative goal.

She presently serves as the Chair of the Medical Leads Group for the Boynton Beach Online Chamber, further contributing to the well-being of the community.
